Refund and Transfer Policy

Refunds

Your course fee is refundable within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not opened the online coursework. The online modules are delivered in full the moment they are opened, so once you have accessed them the fee is non-refundable. After 14 days the refund window closes in either case.

This applies to every course we run, whether booked individually or as part of a group.

Transfers

Transfers are available, including after the online coursework has been opened. If you cannot attend, you can:

• Move to a later class date, tell us before your scheduled in-person session and we will place you on the next available date.
• Send a substitute, another participant can take your place. They must meet the same prerequisites, including the minimum age of 15 and the prerequisite swim test.

A transfer keeps the full value of what you paid. There is no separate charge for the online coursework a second time.

If a class is cancelled by us

If we cancel or reschedule a class and no alternative date suits you, you receive a full refund, regardless of whether the online coursework has been opened.

How to request a refund or transfer

Email admin@lifeguardandsafetytraining.com with your name, the class you booked and your order number. We will confirm in writing.

Certification fees

Certification is issued on successful completion of the course. Failing the written exam or a skill does not create a refund entitlement, you are given the opportunity to retake the written exam using an alternative version, at no extra cost.
