Renewing Before vs. After Expiration
Renewing while your certification is still valid is typically a shorter refresher course. Once a certification has lapsed, most providers require retaking the full course rather than a renewal class.
Check your card’s expiration date early, re-certification classes fill up, and waiting until the last week narrows your options for dates and locations.
